About the business unit
We help conceive, drive, and implement transport solutions for cities, regions, and asset owners/operators around the globe. From preparing the business case and advising on related issues - such as revenue, procurement, and environmental legislation - to delivering the completed infrastructure and helping maintain it. Our planning, engineering, environmental and management skills cover the whole project cycle. We play a major role in developing and delivering the Global Transport Sector Strategy.

About the team
Our projects include transport assessment and modelling for major schemes such as HS2 and East West Rail, improving active travel and public transport links in South East Wales along the M4 corridor and making the case for investment and regeneration across key centres in the North of England.

We support the development of smaller scale infrastructure and development planning projects across the country. For example, the development of innovative facilities for cyclists and pedestrians in Brighton.  We carry out a significant number of transport assessments and travel plans for development proposals and major transport infrastructure whilst we undertake scheme development and appraisal work.

We have major frameworks in transport planning, travel demand management and modelling with organisations including Transport for London, Merseytravel,  The West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Midlands Connect.
