Mott MacDonald seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced Senior Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects to join our Lakewood, CO office. In this role, you will serve as the Project Manager on water and sewer pump stations, collection systems, distribution systems,  and lead the technical development of proposals.

The position offers excellent potential for professional growth and the opportunity to collaborate not only with water resources personnel, but with our many practices including dams, geotechnical, energy, and transportation. The qualified candidate must have strong leadership and project management experience. 
Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Serve as project manager on large and complex projects with multi-discipline project teams  
  • Serve as project manager, supervising less experienced project engineers on smaller less complex projects
  • Supervise and direct preparation of planning studies, evaluations, and feasibility studies for water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects
  • Supervise and direct preparation of plans and specifications for new facilities and rehabilitation of existing facilities
  • Supervise and direct construction engineering support services.
  • Lead the technical development of proposals

We invite applications from candidates with the following experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental or similar)
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Colorado
  • 10+ years total experience in planning, design, and construction management of water, and wastewater infrastructure projects for major utility clients
    • Experience with Denver Water is preferred, but not required
  • Strong technical skills and technical leadership experience, preferably including water or wastewater pumping stations, and linear infrastructure 
  • 5+ years experience in managing multi-discipline project teams

The expected salary for this position is $$132,000- $161,000

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
