About the business unit
We help conceive, drive, and implement transport solutions for cities, regions, and asset owners/operators around the globe. From preparing the business case and advising on related issues - such as revenue, procurement, and environmental legislation - to delivering the completed infrastructure and helping maintain it. Our planning, engineering, environmental and management skills cover the whole project cycle. We play a major role in developing and delivering the Global Transport Sector Strategy.
Overview of role
We are looking for an AGL Engineer with demonstrated professional experience to join our aviation team, based in the UK. We are particularly looking for an Engineer with experience of working in AGL design but with the flexibility to also undertake other aspects of Airfield Design. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, actively participating in the delivery of airport engineering assignments across the world and for a large variety of airports and clients. The main responsibility for this role will be to contribute towards the design of the AGL elements of Airfield Engineering projects, covering AGL and Movement Area Guidance (MAG) signage layouts, pit and duct design, cabling design, approach lighting design, PAPI design (including siting calculations), High Mast Lighting (HML) design including all cable sizing – all in accordance with appropriate design standards.
