Mott MacDonald is seeking a transportation professional to lead our Los Angeles Rail team, and projects with a focus on rail and transit.

 

The successful candidate would take action to deliver responsibilities by:

  • Working with the Market Leader to recruit strategically to grow the capability and capacity of the team.
  • Establishing Mott MacDonald as a key partner to existing and new clients 
  • Leveraging market knowledge and technical skills to establish and grow the team and Mott MacDonald service offerings. 
  • Upskilling existing and new technical staff to deliver projects.
  • Developing relationships with Mott MacDonald’s national and global practices to successfully delivery local projects.
  • Supporting interfacing teams and markets in the pursuit and delivery of projects.
  • Deliver innovation and ensure technical excellence within projects.
  • Maintaining key client relationships and act as an Account Leader as required
  • Collaborate with the Market and Market Leaders and other Discipline Leaders to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Recommend targeted career development and training opportunities for our people.


Experience Required:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience with the development and delivery of transportation projects, including a minimum of five (5) years of delivering transportation projects to public sector clients in Los Angeles.
  • Background in delivery of major rail infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated interest in business development, and the development and maintenance of client relations.
  • Desire to work with multiple agencies to develop projects in a collaborative fashion.
  • Strong written and oral communication and leadership skills is very important for this role.
  • PE license is preferred.

At Mott MacDonald, we provide a comprehensive benefit package that includes 401k, medical, dental and vision insurance, short-term/long-term disability, paid holidays, PTO, parental leave and company paid life insurance. 

The expected salary for this position is $200,000 - $270,000. 

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
