The opportunity 

 

Mott MacDonald is seeking a People Experience Advisor  to provide strong and reliable support to our People Systems Team (People X Team) based in Adelaide.  This is a unique operational role that supports our People Systems team locally, while also collaborating with the Asia Pacific New Zealand and Australia (APNA)  team to play a significant part in understanding the multiple system requirements in order to assist with the project management, whilst navigating through changes in the business.

 

As our Australia business is rapidly growing, you will find that no two days are the same!  Some of the activities include:  

 

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the PeopleX team members to prioritise operational tasks that meet our business-as-usual and unique business activities as they arise; 
  • Collaborating with our Regional HR teams to ensure a consist approach of operations are followed across our region; 
  • Assist with the implementation of effective communication strategies to manage interactions between our local HR teams and the PeopleX team; 
  • Focus on continual improvement and process enhancement of HR procedures, templates and processes. 

 

About You 

 

 

  • Strong Interpersonal skills with the ability to produce clear and logical written communication and presentations.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines ensuring service level agreements are maintained.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to understand and adhere to HR laws, regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain privacy by handling sensitive information with discretion and uphold company data privacy policies.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proactive team member, ability to collaborate and identify issues, resolving or escalating as required.
  • Intermediate system user with exposure to HR systems and platforms.
