We are seeking a payroll specialist to assist with the processing and administration of its multi-state payroll using ADP Vantage for 2000+ employees.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Audit timesheet data weekly to determine compliance with Federal and state laws and company policy.
  • Independently perform all necessary activities to complete the bi-weekly payroll for 1900+ employees in over 40+ states in the USA and Canada, including new hires, terminations, transfers, and all employee changes.
  • Process adjustment payments, Ex. Retro pay and bonuses.
  • Review all benefit changes and set up all wage garnishments.
  • Prepare management reports and audits.
  • Run & create custom reports using ADP Reporting
  • Contact ADP to resolve any payroll issues.
  • Promptly resolve and respond to employee payroll concerns.
  • Transmit benefits after payroll to our providers.
  • Handle any special projects as needed.

 

Candidate specification:

  • College Degree - Preferred but not required.
  • 4+ years of experience with ADP systems required.
  • Accustomed to working in a paperless environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications and Intermediate Excel. 
  • Ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Good listening and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Work independently and within a team with minimal to no supervision.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient knowledge of payroll tax and labor laws, garnishment requirements, payroll recordkeeping, and reporting regulations.
  • Understanding of HIPAA and FLSA regulations.
  • Understanding of Payroll and reporting systems.

 

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • The working hours are from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm, with a 45-minute lunch break in between. The total duration of the shift is 8 hours.
  • We offer time and a half pay for those occasions when required.
