Mechanical BIM Technician
Job Description:
• Modelling of HVAC service in buildings.
• Quantities take off based design drawings.
• Carrying out checking of drawings.
• Coordination between other MEP disciplines, such as Electrical, Plumbing services.
• Work within time limits to complete deliverables on time.
Candidate Specification:
• Be a Diploma / graduation in Mechanical/Refrigeration and AC or equivalent in respective engineering discipline.
• Have at least 1 to 3 years of experience in the field of design.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards work, be a team player and have multi-disciplinary co-ordination skills.
• Be proficient in drafting of HVAC systems, ducting and piping design, plant room layout, sections etc.
• Have good experience in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, REVIT and IT literacy.
• Have basic knowledge of automation.
• Working experience in Common Data environment e.g. Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM360.
• Knowledge of Navisworks manage to review the clashes.
