Job Description:
Hub Coordinator - Rajshahi will coordinate implementation of project activities at Division level, working as part of a team based in one of the project’s focus districts in Rajshahi Division. The role holder will liaise with the Services & Systems Lead to roll out activities relevant to project objective 3, “Strengthen essential and equitable services for adolescents and their families” in selected geographies within the Division. He/She will also work closely with Division-based staff from partner organisations to ensure activities are rolled out in an integrated way. They will maintain collaborative relationships with relevant local government officials and implementing partners of USAID in project districts.
Hub Coordinator - Rajshahi role includes:
Responsibility for implementation of activities relating to strengthened essential services for adolescents and their families through the program in Bangladesh in Rajshahi Division including responsibility for achieving delivery of annual workplans, agreed deliverables and project targets;
Coordination and day-to-day supervision of the Division Hub team to ensure synergies and efficiencies of activities led by consortium partners;
Liaison as needed with local government officials, project partners and other stakeholders to ensure a well-integrated and coordinated program which optimizes local resources;
Development of local annual workplans, tracking of progress and identification of issues and risks related to delivery of project activities;
Contribution to Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) to ensure that project data is collected in line with the MEL plan and local lesson learning is fed back;
Contribution to project progress reports, workshops and dissemination events as needed;
Working with the Project Manager to ensure that the Rajshahi Hub team complies with local financial and operational procedures as set out in the Operations Manual and other guidance documents;
Role modelling a culture of risk management, safeguarding and ethical and transparent conduct at all times throughout the Rajshahi Division hub.
Any other responsibility assigned by the supervisor and based on needs.
The Hub Coordinator - Rajshahi will report to the Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning (MEL) and Equity Lead. This position is based in a district (to be confirmed) within Rajshahi Division with field travel to intervention sites on a weekly basis.
Candidate Specification:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant social science field (such as adolescent health, child development, health systems, public health, nutrition etc.) or equivalent project management qualification
Minimum of six years’ experience in mid-level management or technical role relevant to health services and systems improvement
Excellent documentation skills with strong evidence of documenting and writing in previous roles.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with relevant Bangladesh stakeholders (government, private sector, civil society) to advance youth-friendly services and systems.
Excellent interpersonal communications and skills in both English and Bangla.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attitude to work with adolescents.

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Hub Coordinator – Rajshahi for USAID-funded Adolescent Health Activity (USAID’s Swapno Jatra Activity) in Bangladesh. This project will address systemic gaps that limit the provision of tailored adolescent healthcare services, and social factors that foster early/ child marriage, and in turn, childbearing. To achieve its goal to accelerate reductions in adolescent childbearing and child marriage, the Adolescent Health Activity will focus on investments to strengthen support systems for very young adolescents (boys and girls aged 10-14).
