Role Responsibilities:

  • Support project teams in the use of BIM authoring tools
  • Hold weekly coordination meetings with team members
  • Creating internal BIM standards used in the projects like standards for the use of modelling tools, standards for creating object libraries etc.
  • Early design review and constructability analysis
  • Producing project Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D content
  • Selecting and implementing solutions to automate repetitive tasks like the use of Dynamo, new plugins etc
  • Development and maintenance of BIM project documentation e.g. BEP, MIDP & TIPD
  • Implementing and maintaining the project Common Data Environment (CDE)
  • Monitoring project compliance to agreed workflows
  • Federate models and perform clash detection reporting
  • Coordinate and delegate project tasks amongst team members.
  • Carry out BIM check of models and deliverables produced by team
  • Identify and provide required trainings to the team members/helping the team in upskilling as and when required.
     

Candidate Specification :

  • Experience of civil /Structural engineering design or MEP engineering design
  • Supplementary experience in Navisworks, Bentley ProjectWise, Autodesk BIM360
  • Familiarity with working to industry modelling standards
  • Knowledge of ISO19650 / BS1192 / PAS1192-2
  • EngTech TMICE or similar
  • Strong 3D modelling skills (especially Autodesk Revit Structures and Civil 3D)
  • Strong interest in 3D design, modelling and creating immersive models
  • Enthusiasm to learn new skills and embrace new technologies and software
  • Have an eye for detail and ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
  • Able to work on your own initiative, whilst displaying a commitment to contribute to, and learn from, the wider     team
  • Able to carry out detailing in 2D environment
  • Experience in Hydropower project is not mandatory but will be an advantage
  • Must have excellent communication skills
