Job purpose:
As an ELV Engineer Modeller, you will be responsible for the delivery of all ICT, Security and ELV components for a number of built environment projects across various global regions. You need to demonstrate strong project design skills for ICT, Security and ELV Systems for major global projects.

 

Duties and responsibilities:
•    Scope identification and project coordination among MEP & Other design Stakeholders. 

•    Design delivery and team management along with End-to-end design experience for ICT, Security and ELV systems.
•    Design and Modelling of ICT, Security and ELV systems for all types of buildings from concept design through to detailed design.
•    Provide design solutions for technical issues in relation to areas of ICT, Security and ELV systems design.

•    ICT, Security and ELV system design as per Standards TIA/EIA, BS, BICSI, TRA, SIRA, ADMCC, Etisalat & Du.
•    ICT, Security and ELV specifications drafting, schedules and sizing calculations.
•    Evaluate and advise on ICT, Security and ELV related design changes and non-conformations to ensure fulfilment of the requirements.

•    Developing suitable schematics and further detailing
•    BIM/Revit modelling, coordination, Navisworks design review & Model collaboration. 

 

Candidate specification: 
•    BE / BTech / MTech - Electrical / Instrumentation/ Electronics

•    Good practical understanding ICT, Security and ELV systems
•    Good understanding of building systems related to HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.
•    Design acumen for Smart Services and Building management system will be an added advantage.

•    Cisco networking system understanding will be an added advantage.
•    Awareness of Autodesk CAD, Revit and BIM would be mandatory.
•    Hands on design experience on Bentley MicroStation, Aecosim & Open Building Design platforms will be an added advantage.
To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate the following competencies:
•    IT and standard industry software skills, including hands-on knowledge of Wi-Fi Heat Mapping, IP Video Simulation, PA/BGM speaker simulation, BIM, and other digital platforms.
•    Continuously looking for innovations and improvements to manage workload and accomplish deliverables across individuals, teams, and projects
•    Using leadership skills to build and nurture relationships and creating effective working environments.
•    Able to manage multiple teams with diverse backgrounds on geographically and culturally diverse teams.
•    Dedicated team player with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels including external stakeholders.
•    Adopting a proactive approach towards complex tasks and overall delivery in close coordination with Internal and external design stakeholders. 
•    Sound knowledge of professional and international standards.
