At Mott MacDonald Aotearoa we’ve spent the last 14 years providing expert design and consulting services into landmark projects across New Zealand.  We are looking for our next cohort of graduate engineers to join us as we continue to deliver to our clients and communities, and to identify future leaders to help us get there.

The Buildings team!

Our Buildings team have delivered a range of fantastic projects across New Zealand and focus on innovative building solutions for sustainable growth.   We deliver projects across a range of areas such as Airports, Commercial buildings, Healthcare Healthy places, Metro and public buildings, and Stadiums.

As part of our buildings team, you will be mentored by experts across all facets of building engineering, many of whom are recognised as world-renowned authorities and experts in their fields. Some examples of our recent work across New Zealand and APNA include:

• The Canterbury Multi use Area - Te Kaha
• Aotea Station development
• Seascape Tower – the Tallest Residential building in Auckland
• Sydney Fish markets
• Auckland Airport Domestic Terminal

As part of our 2026 intake, we are looking for 4th year students who are pursing graduate roles under the following areas:

• Structural Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Architectural and Façade Engineering

Application and Proccess

To be considered for our graduate program, you will be pursuing a relevant tertiary qualification and be ready to join us in February 2026.

We ask that you bring your desire to make a difference in the world and share the values we believe in. We would love for you to be a collaborative person, who has a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and is interested in upskilling or passionate about digital tools and design.
