Why join Mott MacDonalds’ Early Career Professionals programme in Asia?

The Early Career Professionals (ECP) programme entails a range of learning activities to support your journey as an ECP. This is designed to supplement your on-the-job training and learning that is essential for your career development.

What will my career development look like?

You will get to participate in regular feedback and development conversations with your line manager to set goals and discuss your individual learning needs.  We provide opportunities to connect and collaborate with a network of local, regional, and global technical experts to deepen your knowledge and domain expertise.  We provide support for professional accreditation and charterships, and scholarship funds if you choose to further your education post-graduation. The ECP programme aims to teach the technical and soft skills that will develop our graduates into well-rounded engineering consultants.

Formal learning

A structured development programme with learning milestones is designed for our ECPs that will speed up the rate of your development and competence.

This includes:

  • Onboarding workshops on various topics like career planning advice, as well as talks by subject matter experts.
  • The Festival of Wild Ideas event where ECPs from the Asia unit and across the region collaborate in groups to solve a business problem using creative ideas. This is a chance to be innovative and develop your skills.
  • Mentorship that helps you to gain confidence and develop new perspectives in your field.
  • A learning management system where you can self-enrol into courses (in-person/virtual).
  • Self-paced learning pathways such as the Renewable Energy Academy.
