Biography
Steve Flanagan is our Chief Technical Officer and is responsible for encouraging and maintaining a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement across our global business. He has a leading role in driving forward our objective of delivering world class Technical Excellence for all our clients.
Steve is a professional chartered engineer with more than 40 years of UK rail engineering experience. He has devoted more than 25 years of his career to Mott MacDonald and has been involved in numerous, high-profile projects that have had a huge positive impact on our clients and the communities they serve.
Steve is passionate about the learning and development and career mobility of colleagues across the globe. He was instrumental in the introduction of our Technical Excellence plan, which includes the implementation of a technical training and development programme, to develop technical career pathways and nurturing technical excellence at the highest levels across our company.
