Steve Couper

Steve is the chief digital officer for our Asia Pacific, New Zealand and Australia (APNA) business, and is focused on supporting and enabling our project delivery teams to adopt and implement our digital platforms and solutions, and to drive productivity improvements that add value to our client’s businesses.  
 
Throughout his career, Steve has led many significant projects in the water sector. This experience, coupled with a decade of leading a growing engineering and digital technology business, has provided him with a unique ability to understand where value can be applied to infrastructure planning, design and physical works delivery. Steve’s background in engineering and technology, alongside his customer centric mindset, provides our APNA digital services team with the leadership and positive culture required to deliver excellence in digital delivery, and build value for our clients and their customers. 
  
Steve’s contributions extend beyond digital services; he has been actively involved in the Aotearoa New Zealand and Australian water markets, including board and president positions with Water New Zealand. He is also a fellow of Engineering New Zealand, recognised by his peers for making significant contributions to engineering. Steve has pioneered new digital and physical technology innovations that have improved water service delivery and water quality outcomes for communities across Aotearoa New Zealand.
