Biography
Ruturaj joined Mott MacDonald in 2024 as South Asia managing director, based in Mumbai, India. He is responsible for further strengthening our delivery of strategic infrastructure and advisory projects in South Asia.
With more than 32 years of experience in industry, he has worked with clients and consultants across the globe, including in Japan, USA, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
Born and brought up in the city of Nagpur, he completed B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from Laxminarayan Institute of Technology (LIT), Nagpur in 1992. He was awarded National Merit Scholarship holder in Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary School Certificate and obtained an Engineering Management certificate from Kansas University, US.
Ruturaj is passionate about nurturing the leaders of tomorrow and mentors engineering students and young engineers to apply their technical engineering knowledge alongside skills such as critical thinking and communication.
Ruturaj enjoys travelling, meeting and interacting with people of diverse backgrounds, and is trained in Indian classical music.
