Biography

Describe what the Mott Mac Life means to you in three words

Community, outcomes, collaboration

What have you learnt while working at Mott MacDonald?

I joined Mott MacDonald to be part of the Australian infrastructure industry’s transformation to embracing collaboration, sustainability and social value, and rejecting adversarial and combative relationships.

During my time here, I have learnt about using our global network to bring international best practice to our projects and clients. By partnering with our leaders across the business, we are bringing global insights to our clients in Australia, drawing from resilience leadership in New Zealand and collaboration in the UK, for example. We’ve also been able to support our clients in the UK and New Zealand by sharing our investment decision-making and private finance approaches in Australia.

It's a great reminder about the power of collaboration!

How do you demonstrate Technical Excellence in your work?

We are at the forefront of the discussion about the future of the infrastructure industry in Australia and abroad, which is incredibly exciting. We are reshaping the Better Business Case system in New Zealand, contributing to the National Construction Strategy in Australia and leading the implementation of change through our contribution to major projects like Sydney Metro.

Are you involved in any additional initiatives at Mott MacDonald, aside from your day-to-day role?

I am the chair of Mott MacDonald’s Australian Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group. I feel privileged to be able to use my skillset to support a more inclusive culture and help to drive better outcomes for our First Nations community.
