Professor Denise Bower OBE is Group director for external engagement at Mott MacDonald. She is responsible for market positioning and is accountable for the delivery of our commitments - and the implementation of our policies and directives - associated with climate change.
Denise is well known in industry for her previous roles as a professor in the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Leeds, and as the executive director of the Major Projects Association, a former member of the UK Infrastructure Client Group, working to improve major project preparation and delivery. This is all part of her long track record of engaging with sponsor and client organisations to help shape significant projects and programmes. Her wealth of experience brings a unique depth of knowledge of the policy, finance and funding environment in which major infrastructure is conceived and delivered.
Denise is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and was appointed to the Order of the British Empire for her services to the engineering and construction industries.
