Biography

Brian Wolf is the regional leader for energy in North America, championing growth by supporting account leadership and prioritizing efforts related to our most significant energy opportunities. In his role, Brian drives investment to scale our energy business, collaborating with leadership on key initiatives in support of our overall regional strategy and fostering connected thinking among our various markets across the globe.  

Brian has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, with extensive knowledge in planning, design, construction, and operation of transmission, distribution, and facility systems. His career has involved multiple facets of the energy industry, having worked in the regulation, operation, construction, and design of energy infrastructure projects. 

Since joining Mott MacDonald in 2011, Brian has used his knowledge and expertise to help Mott MacDonald and our clients recognize and implement solutions to meet the needs of key stakeholders and develop large infrastructure projects that deliver energy to some of the largest cities in the world.  

Brian is an active member of the INGAA Foundation and was elected to the INGAA Foundation Executive Committee in 2025. He has also been involved with the Gas Piping Technology Committee (GPTC), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Northeast Gas Association, and the Marcellus Shale Coalition.
