We use a 'map plus model' approach, combining geographic information systems (GIS) and building information modelling (BIM). This provides a platform for digital twins that can give improved understanding of contexts and conditions, challenges, needs and opportunities, enabling better decisions to be reached, faster. Our map plus model approach uses connected data environments to collaborate seamlessly with partners and clients.

We support a growing portfolio of our own and third-party digital solutions that add value for our teams and clients. Our solutions are 'enterprise-ready', easy to access and integrate, secure and scalable to different project sizes and needs. Our platform enables new solutions to be rapidly designed, prototyped, built and improved.

Over the last decade we have been regularly using AI through machine learning to measure and improve costs, time, safety and carbon. Today, we are increasingly harnessing the power of generative AI: as more information becomes accessible we are employing AI to filter and tailor it to specific needs.  

We are committed to responsible AI, ensuring it's ethical, transparent, and sustainable deployment, fostering trust and long-term success (see our policies). That's why our use of AI is underpinned by rigorous protocols and frameworks for information management, which are regularly reviewed.
