Roxanna Thomas joins Mott MacDonald as Diversity and Inclusion Manager

Roxanna Thomas has joined Mott MacDonald as its new Diversity and Inclusion Manager for North America.

Based at the company's headquarters in Iselin, Ms. Thomas will lead Mott MacDonald's efforts to keep equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) at the heart of the organization, seeking to ensure equal opportunities for all and an inclusive work environment.

Roxanna Thomas brings extensive experience as a diversity professional in government and academic institutions. She has served as a Senior Equal Opportunity Investigator for the New York City Department of Education in Brooklyn, a Title IX Coordinator for the City University of New York (CUNY) Office of Equal Opportunity & Diversity Management, and as Title IX Director and Deputy EEO Officer for the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn. She has worked for the New York State Senate and New York City Council on areas of community development, budget, and legislation.

Ms. Thomas earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from York College (CUNY), a master’s degree in urban affairs from Hunter College (CUNY), and a J.D. from the Northern Illinois University College of Law. She has also completed training at the Cornell University Industrial and Labor Relations School, focused on competencies to advance diversity and inclusion strategies.
