Mott MacDonald named one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for Young People 2023

Mott MacDonald has been chosen for the fifth year in a row as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for Young People. This national award from Mediacorp’s Canada’s Top 100 Employers recognizes industry-leading employers who offer the best workplaces and programs for their younger employees.

Mott MacDonald was recognized for its career-building and management programs, along with mentorship and networking opportunities across its regional and global offices — well-established programs in place for several years.

On behalf of the entire team, I am delighted to be recognized for the efforts put in place to allow each of our Early Career Professionals (ECPs) to be their best.

The company’s offices in Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary were examined under the following categories: student opportunities, in-house training programs, tuition subsidies, unique training and development opportunities, dedicated employee resource groups, vacation allowance, and additional programs/initiatives that benefit early career professionals.

Judges for the award highlighted Mott MacDonald’s career growth programs and resources, including the nomination-based Elements leadership development program, a multimodule online initiative focused on team engagement, client relationships, and commercial awareness.

They also noted the range of opportunities provided to younger employees to engage with experienced team members, both socially and in an educational capacity, including project management workshops, quarterly Early Career Professional town hall meeting, executive “chat” sessions, and opportunities to lead “Teachable Moments” presentations for peers.
