The company’s offices in Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary were examined under the following categories: student opportunities, in-house training programs, tuition subsidies, unique training and development opportunities, dedicated employee resource groups, vacation allowance, and additional programs/initiatives that benefit early career professionals.
Judges for the award highlighted Mott MacDonald’s career growth programs and resources, including the nomination-based Elements leadership development program, a multimodule online initiative focused on team engagement, client relationships, and commercial awareness.
They also noted the range of opportunities provided to younger employees to engage with experienced team members, both socially and in an educational capacity, including project management workshops, quarterly Early Career Professional town hall meeting, executive “chat” sessions, and opportunities to lead “Teachable Moments” presentations for peers.
