Michael Klerer joins Mott MacDonald as General Counsel

We are pleased to announce that Michael Klerer has joined Mott MacDonald as Senior Vice President, Regional General Counsel for North America, based in our Iselin, NJ office.

Michael will be working with the regional leadership team to assist in formulating and implementing the regional strategy and will be responsible for providing a full in-house legal service in the US, Canada, and strategically important countries in Latin America.

Michael joins us from AECOM, where he served in multiple capacities in the legal department covering most of the US and Canada, and most recently as Vice President and Region Chief Counsel. Michael started his legal career as a Litigation Associate for Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, where he argued motions in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts. Subsequently, as a Construction Associate for Greenberg Traurig and Arent Fox, he litigated complex construction disputes.

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree from Yeshiva University and a JD from the Rutgers University School of Law. He has been admitted to the bar in New York, New Jersey, the Southern District of New York, and the District of New Jersey.
