Fueling

As military technologies advance, the infrastructure and systems that fuel aircraft, vehicles, and vessels must adapt to keep pace.

Whether your fleet is engaged in combat operations or responding to civil emergencies, you need robust, resilient systems that can be deployed quickly and that you can rely on. You need infrastructure that’s able to fuel older and newer equipment, operates safely and cost-efficiently, is sustainable, and protects the environment.

What can we do for you?

We work with the US Army, Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard, and with related government agencies and contractors, to support the US Armed Forces through fueling projects at home and overseas.

Deliver systems that work for you. We make the effort to understand the makeup of your fleet, your operational requirements and the constraints and challenges of your local environment. We’ll deliver best practice solutions that are tailored to your needs.

Gather the skills you need under one roof. Our project teams draw on multidisciplinary expertise from across our business, all based in the US, and collaborate seamlessly so there’s no need to deal with a network of subcontractors.

Provide certainty in delivery. We’ll help you gain a clear picture on project risk, scheduling, and cost, and manage your project effectively and collaboratively.

Build in long-term value. We design infrastructure systems with an eye to the future so they can adapt to evolution in equipment and technology. And our environment and social specialists can help maximize the benefits of projects to achieve the best results for communities, taxpayers, and the planet.

Our experience

We have decades of experience in fueling systems and networks in military bases and installations in the US and overseas. Recent work has included:

  • RAF Lakenheath, England, UK
As part of our delivery partner role on the US Visiting Forces F-35 Beddown program at RAF Lakenheath, we designed a new aerospace ground equipment facility and fuel cell to support the arrival of the F-35 aircraft at the air base in Suffolk, England.
  • US Air Force Reserve, West Virginia
Working for the US Army Corps of Engineers, we designed and delivered a fueling system consisting of 22 tanks, a loading station, and overfill protection containment for a fleet of offroad vehicles used for training members of the US Air Force Reserve.
  • US Army Reserve Center, Pennsylvania, USA
Working for the National Guard, we designed and delivered a fueling station for support vehicles at the US Army Reserve Center, which is co-located with Pittsburgh International Airport.
