Are you driven by the challenge of designing and delivering efficient water, wastewater, irrigation, and stormwater systems? Mott MacDonald is looking for a skilled Wet Utilities Engineer to join our Riyadh office and support our projects across Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will ensure the technical excellence of our infrastructure and land development projects. Empowering you to be your best, we collectively shape best-practice to move the industry forward​. 

 

Key responsibilities and duties are listed below: 

  • Prepare reports and design documentation for water, wastewater, irrigation and storm water infrastructure projects 

  • Prepare hydraulic modelling for water, wastewater, irrigation and storm water 

  • Undertake hydraulic calculations 

  • Understanding design principles, standards and codes  

  • Prepare designs using Civil 3D software in a BIM environment,  

  • Good organisation and time keeping skills  

  • Can communicate effectively in writing and verbally.  

  • Team player and collaborative approach in undertaking work  

 

Candidate Specification: 

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in an Civil or related field, 

  • Experience working in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia is preferred 

  • Working towards a professional qualification, such as ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers), is preferred. 

  • Experience in ProjectWise, Infraworks, Navisworks, Openutilities etc is preferable 

  • Ability to communicate confidently and professionally in English with all levels of staff 

  • Willingness to travel for short term assignments would be preferred.
