About the role:
In Mott MacDonald, we have a digital delivery team focused on providing digital leadership on projects, producing BIM execution plans, overseeing and leading the BIM delivery, digital quality checks and digital integration to ensure the requirements of ISO 19650 are complied with. We are looking for a Digital Innovation Lead to drive a strategy aiming to elevate our offering in various sectors, particularly in the land development, primary infrastructure, construction supervision, and buildings markets. This will enable us to better respond to our existing clients challenges and position us as leaders in implementing advanced technologies on our projects in a more efficient and innovative manner.
Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
This role is critical in advancing our digital capabilities, and will focus on the following key areas;
Drive a strategy aiming to elevate our offering in various sectors. In the first 12 months, the role will particularly focus on the land development, primary infrastructure, construction supervision and buildings services.
Develop and grow the team to embed innovation in projects
Collaborate with the Digital Delivery practice to support any digital upskilling initiatives
Promote collaboration and the effective use of our central digital function across projects
Elevate our bid proposals by embedding digital excellence
Implement digital advancements in project delivery with a focus on;
Candidate specifications:
Good understanding of the engineering, construction and infrastructure sector specific to the Mott MacDonald business unit for which you are applying - its business models, market trends, competitive landscape;
Familiarity with contemporary digital trends, and ability to horizon-scan, translating abstract digital futures into real-world business threats and opportunities (ideation)
Ability to build advocacy for the role of digital technology in business delivery across diverse groups; including nurturing stakeholder relations up to Unit GM level to win buy-in to the digital change agenda
Track record of successful digital business transformation in a similar leadership role
