Job Description

The individual will be a part of the Tax Centre of Excellence (CoE) based in Powai, Mumbai and report to the Regional Tax Compliance and Reporting Manager. 


This position performs general office duties that may include word processing, data entry, preparation of reports using various software packages, compilation of information from various sources, and handling small scale projects. This position may deal with confidential material on a regular basis. This role is critical in enhancing team efficiency and ensuring smooth operations within the company.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Administrative Support:

  • Schedule & coordinate meetings, appointments and reservations, ensuring efficient use of time for the CoE team.
  • Assist in the daily administrative tasks
  • Manage correspondence and emails efficiently, ensuring timely responses and proper documentation.

 

Documentation and Reporting:

 

  • Prepare, edit, and organize documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as required by the CoE team.
  • Maintain records and ensure that all documentation is organized, up-to-date, and accessible.
  • Assist in compiling data and information for operational needs.

 

 

Project Assistance:

 

  • Support various projects by organizing relevant data, scheduling follow-ups, and ensuring alignment with project timelines.
  • Provides assistance with ad hoc project requirements as and when required.

 

Communication and Collaboration:

 

  • Act as a liaison between the CoE and external consultants to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure tasks and requests are addressed promptly and accurately.

 

 

Vendor Management

 

  • Assist in the process of vendor onboarding
  • Raise purchase requisitions, purchase orders and invoice processing for timely vendor payments

 

 

Requirements:

 

 

  • 1-3 years of experience in administrative support roles
  • Bachelors in commerce (preferred).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Fluency in English
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity to work on tasks of a critical/ confidential nature
