Job description:
We are looking for a civil structural engineer to join our Genoa team to work on our major multidisciplinary detailed design projects.
As well as contributing to these new and existing projects, this position will play an active role in improving our project management processes and approach, driving both delivery excellence and efficiency in our business.
You will work with our team of engineers, technicians and draftsmen to deliver our work to specified standards and project schedule, while following our project governance.
As part of your day-to-day work, you will be responsible for analysing project documents, Detail design of concrete structure, bar bending checks, Detail design steel structure including connection details, 3D model review, Design review, client liaison.
You are expected to Design in accordingly with the applicable Codes & standard (European and international), prepare input for draftsman, examine, mark-up and align documentation and drawings.
Currently we are developing projects in Thermal & Nuclear sectors, Wind and Solar, BESS, hydropower and our involvement is also in other sectors like Metros (UK & Canada), railways (UK), etc. providing a wide range of services to owners, contractors and developers, including feasibility, planning, detailed design, owner’s engineering and site supervision.

Mott MacDonald Group operates an incentive scheme for employees on standard terms and conditions with a minimum six-month service at the end of the previous financial year. The scheme is non-contractual and targeted at exceptional contributors but includes a fixed element in which all eligible staff (grades A-E) share.
The scheme includes General Bonus, Performance Bonus and Annual Salary Review
Bonus Payments are normally made in March each year.
The performance related bonus is of around 3.5% salary for employees demonstrating excellent performance though not only a certain number of employees get this every year.
We do an annual salary review based on market changes
