Your Next Challenge

 

As a young and enthusiastic surveyor prepared to develop his/her career with Mott MacDonald as a leading NEC consultant, you will be responsible for the following duties under guidance and supervision by the Technical Director / Principal Quantity Surveyor for a portfolio of building, civil and M&E construction contracts adopting NEC forms of contract ranging from priced to target cost contract options:

 

  • Cost estimation
  • Evaluation of changes
  • Supporting on formulation of contract and tendering strategy
  • Preparation of tender documents
  • Tender evaluation
  • Assessment of payment for the contractors’ work
  • Supporting on provision of contract advice
  • Financial monitoring and reporting
  • Attending meetings and workshops
  • Carrying out other ad-hoc tasks as may be requested by your line manager

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline with 2 years working experience. Shorter working experience could be considered.
  • Willingness to expand development into non-conventional procurement approaches and contract forms.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
  • You also have the right to work in Hong Kong.
