Title: Project Manager – Structural
Location: 1400 Broadway, 21st Floor, New York, NY 10018
Duties: Assist the Construction and Design Manager in managing structural design and construction of station structure including elevator systems and related work within eight existing NYCT Subway stations throughout all five boroughs of New York City. Help ensure code compliance throughout the program duration. Help manage structural design and execution of rehabilitation and repair work. Help manage work scope, budgets, and schedules. Develop and maintain working relationships with stakeholders in partnership with program goals. Assist with responses to claims, development of change order RFPs, and negotiation. Help manage design and construction in proximity to active MTA operations. Understand and coordinate MTA and other MTA railroad operations. Support project management scheduling and estimating. Help ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and industry safety standards (i.e., OSHA.). Use Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Professional to communicate, collaborate, review and comment on program documents, etc. Maintain Roadway Worker Protection, OSHA, and other necessary training during the Task Order. 25-50% local travel required to various construction sites located in NYC.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a directly related field plus ten (10) years of experience as a Project Manager, Structural Engineer, or any occupation/position/job title involving experience in structural engineering.
Two (2) years in the following:
Qualified applicants must have a Professional Engineering (PE) license in the State of New York.
