Mechanical Engineer - 2025 Graduate

Mott MacDonald Singapore is currently recruiting a Mechanical Engineer (Graduate) to work in our Buildings market. Within this role you will support the detailed design of building services mechanical engineering and calculations, technical reporting, and support engineering tasks across a wide range of award-winning Buildings and Transport projects. These projects include Changi Airport Terminal 5, transport and infrastructure projects (for e.g., metro projects, roads & highways etc), & buildings projects. As part of the role, key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare, outline and carry out detailed design of building services mechanical  engineering designs and calculations.
  • E20/heat load calculations, ACMV design, smoke control systens, plumbing, sanitary, fire etc. 
• Prepare method statement and engineering proposal
• Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and authority organisations.
• Visiting construction sites to carry out site inspection and site supervision
• Coordinate with various parties (team members, clients, government authorities) on design and stakeholder interfacing. 
• Liaising and working together within the project team of engineers and drafters.
• Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor

About You:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering.
  Strong interest and passion in pursuing structural design engineering in a consultancy environment.
• A digital aptitude, strong learning mindset and interest to commit to driving social and sustainable outcomes in all that we do.
• Collaborative, open, and constructive approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A team player who is enthusiastic, driven and committed.
