Work as part of a team to ensure the stable and efficient delivery of the services within the Microsoft Applications Delivery Team, with an emphasis on the components of the Microsoft 365 service / Power Platform, Dynamics and Fabric. You will have solid technical experience in all aspects of delivering change and maintaining IT systems. 

 

Key duties and responsibilities include: 

  • Providing 4th level support for products in the portfolio of services provided by the Microsoft Applications Delivery Team, with an emphasis on the components of the Power Platform and Fabric 
  • Providing level three and four support for products in the portfolio of services provided by the Microsoft Applications Delivery Team, outside of the Microsoft suite. 
  • To take ownership of selected services within the Microsoft Applications Delivery Team portfolio Power Platform and Fabric and move them through their service lifecycle. 
  • Develop long strategies, continual service improvements to facilitate the improvement of Microsoft Power Platform and Fabric through the service lifecycle. 
  • Proactively seek out information from the Microsoft Community to ensure that we are aware of the roadmap for the Microsoft 365 service / Office 365 Service. 
  • Work with Internal teams and vendors to deliver new IT applications into the Mott MacDonald 
  • Ensure compliance with Mott MacDonald standards, policies, and regulations. To work effectively with the Change Manager to ensure change does not happen outside of the Change Control process. 
  • Help design and implement application delivery strategies, including deployment pipelines, release management processes, and automation frameworks. 


Essential: 

  • Experience of working in an IT Applications team. 
  • Understanding and experience of an IT Applications support model 
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft Applications especially the Office 365 components, including but not limited to: 
  • Power Platform and Fabric  
  • MS Dynamics 365 
  • The Office 365 tenant 
  • Office 365 Groups 
  • Office 365 Applications 
  • Experience of IT service management processes. 

 

Desirable: 

  • Experience of working in an IT Applications team as part of a multinational organisation 
  • Experience in service ownership 
  • Microsoft Power platform and Dynamics 365 MP 
  • Basic Project Management skills 
  • Business Analysis skills 
  • Application development skills 
  • Microsoft IT certifications 
  • A relevant degree or equivalent is highly desirable or a BE/B Tech/MCA from a reputable institute. 
  • MCSA or MCSE or relevant certification in Microsoft Office 365 
  • ITIL V3/V4 foundation certification
