About the business unit
The Energy unit delivers services to clients globally across several sectors including hydropower, nuclear, waste, renewable generation and transmission & distribution networks. Together we provide integrated engineering and project management services across the project lifecycle – from concept and design to construction and operations, to decommissioning or repowering and life extension. Together with our clients, we’re helping to deliver the energy transition globally.
Overview of role
You will be part of the Energy Unit supporting Energy Networks - Transmission & Distribution projects across the UK and Ireland. As an experienced Document Controller within the Civil & Structural team your primary focus will be to maintain project information, incoming and outgoing deliverables, oversee quality assurance workflows, maintain high technical standards, and help to guide and develop junior staff. You will collaborate and work with colleagues on projects, internal and client, fostering a knowledge sharing environment.
This is a key role and it’s vital in ensuring that the team is using the latest versions of all documents to enable our work to be accurate, consistent and delivered on time to our client.

Candidate specification
As an experienced Document Controller, you have the ability to prioritise and work under pressure while demonstrating a flexible approach to work. Your time management skills are effective, and you enjoy working in a team environment while using your initiative and taking a methodical approach to tasks. You are comfortable working within an office environment and are able to foster and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and external contacts. You are a friendly and outgoing individual and are approachable for administration and support.
