Overview of the Role

We are looking for experienced consultants who would like to be involved in international projects from our Dutch office or who have ambitions to work in the field of Digital Signalling at one of our branches.

Mott MacDonald is looking for advisors who like to work in a team and share knowledge with colleagues. Experts who have no problem with flexible working hours and are willing to travel if necessary.

You will make an active contribution to projects and be closely involved in the winning of new projects. This role can be located at project organizations, such as temporary secondment to clients, or carried out in a team from our offices in Utrecht or Arnhem.

Mott MacDonald Nederland has built up a very good international reputation as a consultant in the field of “Digital Signalling”. By this we mean the modern rail safety systems such as CBTC and ETCS. If you're familiar with at least one of these systems, read on.

From our Utrecht office, we work with an international team of rail security specialists who work all over the world, but also locally in the Netherlands and Belgium. We recently won several projects in Toronto, Melbourne, Washington, London and the Netherlands. We therefore need reinforcements, because we also expect involvement in projects in New York, Sydney and Brussels in 2023/24.

Projects are largely carried out from the Netherlands, but site visits are often one of the activities. In good consultation, it can also be decided to strengthen Mott MacDonald offices in other countries for a short or longer period. From the Netherlands, we provide important input to Mott MacDonald projects in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. In all projects there is intensive collaboration with colleagues from international Mott MacDonald offices, local partners and clients.

Technical Excellence, Innovation and Digitization are important keywords in our projects.
