Simon Harris

Simon was appointed managing director of Mott MacDonald’s International Development business in 2022. In this role, Simon manages a geographically dispersed staff of 600 employees delivering major projects in the education, health, climate, infrastructure, water and energy sectors in low and middle-income countries. In response to increasingly dynamic geopolitics, he is continually using his consulting skills to evolve our internal business model to deliver high quality technical assistance to our clients, the beneficiaries they support and ultimately, improved social outcomes for all.

Simon joined the company in 1998 and moved up and across the business including international careers in infrastructure finance, strategy and management consulting, people development and international development. During this time, Simon has developed a deep understanding of managing global teams and delivering major projects. Simon shares these experiences via numerous working groups with governments, donors and investors.
