Dr. Philip Pedros is a vice president and principal process engineer at Mott MacDonald in North America. He specializes in wastewater treatment process engineering, serving as technical leader on projects involving process modeling, design, and operation of wastewater treatment plants. He is interested in the thermochemical processing of sewage biosolids and the thermal destruction of nitrous oxide emissions from biological nutrient removal (BNR) processes.
Philip has 28 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry and has worked on projects throughout the United States as well as in Canada, Brazil, and Singapore. He holds eight patents and has authored numerous technical papers and industry journal articles related to nitrification and nitrogen removal.
