Biography

Mark became the Buildings and Cities (BNC) managing director in May 2023. He began his career at Mott MacDonald as a graduate engineer after earning a masters degree in Civil Engineering from Newcastle University.

Mark's career encompasses various sectors across Mott MacDonald including water, transport and buildings. He’s played a pivotal role delivering for several of our major clients including Anglian Water, the Ministry of Justice and the Environment Agency.

As managing director for buildings and cities, Mark leads the teams responsible for our work across placemaking, health, defence and buildings in UK and Europe. He is passionate about sustainability and creating healthy and thriving places for people, and is focused on helping clients design, manage and adapt their buildings to become more resilient for the future.
