Joining Mott MacDonald has been an amazing experience for me. Every individual is given the opportunity to showcase and develop their talents and skills, and there’s so much to learn from working with colleagues who are experts in their fields.

Tell us about your specialism and why you chose it

I lead on delivering gender equality, social inclusion and leaving no one behind initiatives, ensuring our projects consider marginalised communities and mitigate the risks of exclusion. My role ensures I can advocate for inclusive policies and practices for those in marginalised communities who inspire me with their actions, like combatting local climate change.

How do you contribute to Mott MacDonald making a difference to people and planet?

In Nepal we have been doing remarkable work in locally led climate change adaptation, focused on driving positive impact through promoting empowerment, inclusivity, equity, and sustainability. I strive to make a lasting difference to both people and the planet by fostering a greater sense of purpose, being connected, and passing on positive and inclusive values.

How has your career progressed since joining?

I’ve been part of Mott MacDonald for nearly two years, continuing to develop my understanding of climate change. The company has fostered my professional development through mentorship, team guidance, various trainings, workshops, and opportunities. Such progression has sharpened my leadership and communication abilities, enhanced my critical thinking, and deepened my knowledge in the development sector.
