I love sharing my passion for technical innovation, mentoring, and lessons-learned best practices to help Mott MacDonald’s tunnels team deliver quality, practical, and constructable solutions for our clients.
Eric Wang is a technical leader in Mott MacDonald’s North America tunnels practice. In this role, Eric provides technical leadership to project teams and stakeholders throughout the delivery of tunnel projects.
Eric has over 35 years of civil and tunneling expertise in the design, construction, and program management of major transportation and wet infrastructure projects in the US and Canada. He has broad underground design experience for new expansions, inspections, and rehabilitations. His experience also includes specialty subconsultant designing means-and-methods for tunneling contractors, and general contractor on complex urban tunnel construction projects. He is well-versed in fast-paced alternative project delivery from progressive design-build projects in California to P3 D-B-F-M highway tunnel assignments in Kentucky and Florida.
Eric is an active member of The Moles and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Geo-Institute’s Underground Engineering and Construction technical committee. He is also engaged in the Underground Construction Association of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration’s Working Group #19 Conventional Tunnels, and the Transportation Research Board’s AKB60 Tunnels and Underground Structures Standing Committee. Eric also serves as an ASCE Key Contact for New Jersey. He has published and presented over 27 technical papers on tunneling case histories.
We are looking for enthusiastic, inspiring, and committed people to join our growing team.
