Biography

David joined Mott MacDonald in 1999, is a chartered electrical engineer, Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, and Fellow of Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers.

David has building experience ranging from new build and refurbishment projects in transport, retail, office, industrial, hospital, university and other public developments both in the United Kingdom and internationally, with a track record of following projects from inception to completion.  Award winning projects include the Imperial War Museum North, Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and Crossrail Elizabeth Line.

David has spent several years in major projects as a multi-disciplinary project director overlaying building disciplines and design onto major infrastructure projects including Crossrail Elizabeth line (20 years) and London Underground major projects.  With a particular interest in stations and adjacent site development, David set up and managed the Mott MacDonald transport buildings global practice which also included aviation and maritime buildings.

Besides his project roles, David is also the building services mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) resource lead across the London and Southeast four regional offices.
