Biography

Chris joined Mott MacDonald in 2014. He is the global practice leader for building structures and a Fellow of The Institute of Structural Engineers. The building structures practice is one of the largest and most active practices within Mott MacDonald with over 700 building structural engineers around the world, all connected through the practice.

In the 10 years Chris has been at Mott MacDonald, he has been project director, technical lead, and engineering manager on several major projects; most notably: a KSA giga project, the Heathrow airport expansion programme, Waterloo station redevelopment and the Shenzhen airport.

Chris plays a critical role in implementing the Group’s strategy, and as practice leader, he is responsible for engaging with clients, safeguarding technical quality and reputation, advancing staff capability, unlocking innovation, fostering best practice, and driving sustainability.
