Biography
Brenda Begg is the chief risk officer at Mott MacDonald, a role she has held since January 2021 to advance the company’s risk management journey. With over 25 years of experience in risk management, resilience, and corporate analysis, Brenda has a particular interest in risk management as a forward-looking discipline by developing strong linkages between business strategy and an organisation's overall risk strategy, resulting in long-term sustainability. Brenda brings a wealth of expertise to the company.
Before joining Mott MacDonald, Brenda held key leadership roles in several sectors, including head of risk positions at a FTSE 250 digital and financial media company and also at a fully integrated oil and gas company.
She is also a board trustee at Beyond the Streets, a position she has held since August 2021.
With Brenda's comprehensive background in risk management, and her leadership roles across various industries, she brings significant experience in this field to Mott MacDonald's management committee.
