Mott MacDonald to support the Environment Agency make informed investment decisions
Mott MacDonald has been selected to support the Environment Agency on its Mapping & Modelling Framework, for a period of up to four years beginning in May 2024. The new framework arrangements will be based on a national approach with Mott MacDonald providing coverage across all the Environment Agency’s Integrated Delivery Hubs and areas.
The consultancy will deliver a broad range of services focused particularly on flood and coastal erosion modelling, forecasting and flood hydrology improvements, and national/catchment scale modelling, mapping and forecasting projects.

The Environment Agency designed this framework to help it identify partners who would add value through their approach to social value and the circular economy, plus have the biggest sustainability impact through robust standards, monitoring and reporting. This closely aligns with Mott MacDonald's purpose, but also combines its understanding of climate projections and physical risk and resilience assessment, with its modelling capability, for the benefit of all the regions the Environment Agency protects.
