Mott MacDonald, a leading global engineering, management and development consultancy has completed its acquisition of Neo Engineering Consultancy (Neo), a specialist electrical engineering and strategic advisory company working across utilities, local government and primary industry in New Zealand.
Neo has built an industry leading offering in New Zealand with an experienced team of trusted experts tackling challenging projects and creating enduring value for clients. Nigel Stevenson, Neo’s managing director becomes Mott MacDonald’s electrical, instrumentation, control and automation (EICA) manager for New Zealand.
Neo has almost two decades experience in delivering dynamic, pragmatic solutions for clients. The company focuses on industrial engineering design of electrical, automation, telemetry and SCADA systems across water, transport, generation, renewables, timber and dairy. Mott Macdonald and Neo have worked collaboratively on several major projects over the past 10 years, and this acquisition allows closer alignment and better outcomes for shared and new clients.
Through this acquisition, Mott MacDonald’s capability in New Zealand and the wider Australasian region is strengthened through enhancing the integrated delivery of multi-discipline projects and the specialist expertise brought by Neo’s talented team.
