Mott MacDonald, a global engineering consultant is looking for a third party coordinator to provide coordination of various stakeholder interests on a major heavy civil transit project in the LA area. Stakeholders may include the City of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles, SCRRA, Caltrans, UPRR, utility owners such as, LADWP, Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Company, AT&T, Spectrum/Charter/Time Warner, and other third party utility companies including but not limited to telecommunications companies. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working on Government contracts therefore, you must be familiar with industry-standard processes and procedures used by the implementing agency
  • Coordinate and move forward third party work on capital improvement construction projects
  • Must be able to work and have previously experience and knowledge of California public Utilities Commission requirements and general orders

 

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or other engineering degree preferred
  • 5+ years experience in third party or utility coordination
  • Familiarity with industry-standard processes and procedures used by implementing agencies
  • Exceptional communication skills coupled with technical knowledge in the design and construction of utility facilities
  • Must be willing to work in an office environment, in temporary construction offices and on construction site
  • Pre-established relationships with key third party entities and utility owners regionally is preferred but, not required

Salary Range: $75k-180k
