Act as RSE and Perform RSE duties for buildings and infrastructure projects including statutory site supervision requirements.
Provide technical expertise, sound advice and appropriate solutions and to lead design submissions to meet the client and statutory requirements.
Provide statutory advice and proactively liaise with clients, other appointed Authorised Persons, Registered Geotechnical Engineers, and stakeholders and attend meetings as required.
Assist in the delivery of multiple projects from start to complete and to meet the clients expectations, cost and programme.
Assist in the business development of the buildings sector through client liaison in the preparation of technical bids.
Offer support and guidance to other members of the project team.
What You'll Need
Holds a current valid registration for Registered Structural Engineer, as prescribed under the Buildings Ordinance.
10 years+ experience in the capacity of a Registered Structural Engineer.
15 years+ post qualification experience on buildings and infrastructure works, and on multidisciplinary engineering projects.
Structural design experience for civil structures (such as vehicular bridges, footbridges, noise barriers, tunnels) would be an advantage.
Communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, authorities, stakeholders for approval of submissions.
Project management and people skills to work with project team and for effective project delivery.
Familiarity with relevant codes of practice, practice notes and local legislations. Knowledge in international design standards would be an advantage.
Familiarity with private and public works consultancies and construction contracts in Hong Kong.
