Seattle Waterfront Revitalization: This project aims to transform the Seattle waterfront into a vibrant public space, enhancing the city's connection to Elliott Bay.
Seattle Light Rail Expansion: Mott MacDonald is contributing to the expansion of Seattle's light rail system, improving public transportation and reducing traffic congestion.
To support a major transit program in Seattle, we’re looking to welcome a Systems Project Manager to the team to manage and have oversight of a track and systems construction contract during design and construction. The Systems Project Manager responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
Review of and responding to designer and contractor’s submittals, non-conformance reports, requests for deviations, requests for information and all other contract correspondence
Administration and co-ordination of the owner’s team’s input to contract correspondence as required.
Management, administration and co-ordination of all commercial matters related to the Contract, including production of Independent Cost Estimates for change proposals.
Management, administration and co-ordination of all schedule-related matters on the contract, including analysis of progress and delay, production of Time Impact Analyses, and monthly schedule updates.
Reporting of contract status, progress of delivery, cost and commercial matters, and technical issues to the owner in weekly and monthly reports
Oversight of contractor’s site activities to support confirmation of safety, quality and specification compliance. This includes raising Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required
Work collaboratively with the client, the Contractor, and other Contract teams to ensure that the client’s objectives of safe, effective and efficient delivery are met.
We invite applications from candidates with the following experience;
15+ years of experience in delivery management of transit systems.
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Responsibility for supervision of design and construction of track and systems contract.
Experience of review and provision of constructive comments on submittals of various types.
A proactive nature to address potential issues, as and when they arise.
Ability to work harmoniously with the contractor, client and consultant team.
Ensure effective communication with the project team.
Effective stakeholder engagement.
Any experience on rail or heavy civil projects is preferred

At Mott MacDonald, we provide a comprehensive benefit package that includes 401k, medical, dental and vision insurance, short-term/long-term disability, paid holidays, PTO, parental leave and company paid life insurance.
The expected salary for this position is $178,000- $218,000
Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
