Reporting to the Unit Financial Accountant, your duties will include but not be limited to: 

 

  • Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of accurate and timely financial records: account payable, expenses claim, billing, account receivables, journal entries. 

  • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines. 

  • Account analysis and monthly reconciliation on all balance sheet accounts, includes intercompany. 

  • Responsible for monthly tax computation, payment, and tax return lodgement. 

  • Monthly cash flow reporting to the Group Treasury. 

  • Preparation of an annual cash flow budget. 

  • Responsible for the preparation of annual statutory financial statements, external and internal audit. 

  • Work closely with the tax team and tax adviser for timely preparation and lodgement of the annual CIT return and transfer pricing documents. 

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements. 

  • Implementing internal controls and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting. 

  • Assist with applications for and compliance with the entity’s licensing requirements. 

  • Responsible for monthly payroll, payroll taxes, and social security calculation, payment, and reporting with the relevant authority (BPJS, Department of Labor) 

 

Key requirements (certain qualifications, accreditations, software experience etc) 

 

  • University Degree, bachelor’s in accounting. 

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and tax in a multinational company. 

  • Having good knowledge in Tax and Financial reporting. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

  • An enthusiastic and positive ‘can do’ attitude. 

  • High integrity and excellent work ethics, with strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and discipline. 

  • Fluent verbal and written English language skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
