About the business unit 
The Buildings and Cities Unit (BNC) has a major presence in Mott MacDonald's regional offices throughout the UK and mainland Europe, providing a wide range of diverse and transferable cross-sector skills across five key Sectors; Advisory, Health, Built Environment, Energy, Transportation and Water. We also provide local services to customers and technical leadership to the rest of the Group in these sectors. 

 

About the role:

Our Healthcare Consulting team is seeking a Senior Consultant specialising in Digital Health to join our growing team and drive our continued success. In this role, the Senior Consultant will be responsible for ensuring delivery excellence by managing projects to meet client expectations, deadlines, and budgets while upholding the high standards of Mott MacDonald.

 

The Senior Consultant will have the opportunity to work as part of the project team, and will engage with clients, under the supervision of Project Managers with the prime aim of ensuring the projects are able to deliver a successful outcome.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform as a Project Manager and/or Senior Consultant in a wide variety of healthcare assignments to meet the objectives and scope provided by the client.
  • Ability to work as part of a dynamic consultancy team focused on the delivery of project-based assignments
  • Lead or contribute to the development of reports, proposals, and the presentation of outputs to different audiences
  • Successfully maintain client relationships
  • Project manage the work of others and provide advice and training to junior team members
  • Is recognised as, and provides, a valued source of advice and training for more junior employees.

 

Requirements:

The successful candidate must be able to possess and demonstrate the following skills and personal attributes:

  • Degree/ Masters level or equivalent
  • Previous experience in Consulting, with a focus on healthcare or relevant experience in the NHS
  • Experience in one or more of:
    • Digital developments and interventions in healthcare
    • ICT Infrastructure & communications systems
    • Smart buildings technologies 
  • Track record in supporting the delivery of complex projects in healthcare on time and on budget
  • Can demonstrate examples of problem-solving skills to achieve delivery of a solution or outcome
  • Excellent report writing experience, appropriate to different audiences
  • Experience of supporting business development opportunities, writing proposals
  • Experience of being client facing.
