Mott MacDonald Hong Kong Limited has been appointed by Civil Engineering and Development Department to undertake construction supervision for Contract No. CV/2023/15 – Infrastructure Works at Kwok Shui Road, Tsuen Wan and Contract No. CV/2023/17 – Site Formation and Infrastructure Works at Tsing Yi Road West. 
The works under Contract No. CV/2023/15 comprise construction of a footbridge across Castle Peak Road - Kwai Chung and associated lift facilities, widening of a section of the existing single two-lane carriageway of Kwok Shui Road and ancillary works including drainage, sewerage, waterworks and landscaping works. The works have been commenced in June 2024 and will take about 36 months to complete. 
The works under Contract No. CV/2023/17 comprise site formation works and construction of associated retaining walls and slopes, construction of a footbridge across Tsing Yi Road West and associated lift facilities, construction of signalised junction at Tsing Yi Road West near Ching Hong Road, and ancillary works including drainage, sewerage, waterworks and landscaping works. The works are scheduled for commencement in August 2024 and will take about 48 months to complete. 
We now invite applications for the following Resident Site Staff positions. Candidates should meet the minimum qualifications and experience required as stated below.

 

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or equivalent; AND

  • Diploma or Higher Certificate from Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong/Hong Kong Institute of Construction/Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/Technical Institute/Technical College/Polytechnic University in Hong Kong or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; AND

  • At least 7 years’ relevant post-qualification experience; OR

  •  At least 7 years’ relevant experience as Resident Survey Officer (Quantity) or equivalent in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook.

Appointments will be made on contract term with Mott MacDonald Hong Kong Limited in accordance with the prevailing Government terms and conditions applicable for Resident Site Staff. The incumbents will be required to work irregular hours, overtime and shifts (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) and to carry out supervision duties in Mainland China or overseas if necessary.
