Regional Financial Accounting Manager

Our Finance team across the Asia Pacific, New Zealand & Australia region (‘APNA') provide a trusted front line financial support service. As part of our commitment to developing and servicing our key clients, we are looking for a Regional Financial Accounting Manager (APNA). This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your experience and technical accounting skills to provide support to the Regional Finance Manager for APNA, and more broadly for the wider Asia Pacific region. 

This role will see you based in Singapore, working within a tight knit Finance team, who committed to three business units and 11 countries across the APNA region, taking on a number of new and on-going systems and process improvement initiatives.

Your Opportunity

• Day to day, your overall responsibility in the region will include oversight of financial accounting, credit management, regional taxation, insurance treasury (including banking, mandates, bank guarantees), payroll, internal controls and our financial accounting system (Deltek). 
• Alongside this, your role will see you managing accounting processes, coordinating the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with the compliance framework for the relevant country, and leading the external and internal audit processes.
• Your strong leadership capabilities with a passion for mentoring and developing teams will see you lead teams across the region to success and continuing their professional development
• Effective management of stakeholders is key in this role, where you will interface with executive management at the Group level (based in the UK), and across APNA, in addition to liaising with external and internal business partners.  

About You

• Professional qualified accountant (CA or CPA equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting background
• Experience as a Senior Finance leader in a large, complex organisation
• A track record of managing a large team across multiple locations
• Passionate about leading and mentoring
• Values soft skills as a priority
